What does an Automation Test Engineer at CQE do?
Play your part in ground-breaking, enterprise level digital programmes.
As a CQE Automation Test Engineer you’ll be working on multiple projects across varied industry sectors employing a variety of technologies and tool sets. Working in multi-disciplinary teams you’ll help deliver some of the most exciting digital programmes with some of the best and brightest tech people in the industry. You will deliver a wide range of automation services to our portfolio of clients including defining/ implementing test automation strategies, roadmaps, tools, framework & approach across our growing client portfolio.
Provide cutting edge quality engineering services to some of the world's leading organisations.
Our Test Engineers work with experts from diverse backgrounds and experiences on some of the most innovative and newest-to-market technologies. What you’ll be good at.
The ideal candidate will have a deep, diverse, working understanding of Automation Testing across a multitude of technologies, applications, and industry sectors with the ability to adapt to complex and faced paced delivery. The candidate will have strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
With the confidence, expertise, strong technical background and proven skill set your aim is to help improve quality and deliver value in whatever form that takes. To do this you need to be adaptable above all, passionate about testing and able to effectively communicate with stakeholders both technical and business.
Your expertise.
You will need to have a strong understanding of all aspects of testing, the ability to influence and improve quality at all levels of the stack and will have expertise in some of these core areas:
Working in a fast paced and challenging environment
Defining, building and maintaining Test Automation frameworks
Developing and maintaining automated test suites
Working knowledge of web, API, and mobile test automation tools and engineering approaches including CI/CD
Hands-on technical experience in tools and frameworks using a variety of different coding languages i.e. Java, C#, Python or JavaScript
BDD experience with exposure to Selenium, Cucumber, Specflow or Gherkin
Working experience delivering testing using Agile Software Development Lifecycle Processes and Methodologies
Test management and version control tool expertise (such as JIRA and GIT).
